Aim and Scope

Aim

The primary aim of YPATL is to facilitate the international exchange of scientifically documented knowledge in Yoga, Pranic Healing, and complementary and alternative therapies.

The journal aims to:

• Encourage scientifically rigorous research in yogic, pranic, complementary, and alternative health sciences.
• Provide a platform for reporting novel findings, innovative approaches, and emerging concepts.
• Promote interdisciplinary research connecting traditional practices with contemporary health sciences.
• Disseminate evidence concerning the potential benefits, limitations, mechanisms, and safety of complementary and alternative interventions.
• Encourage appropriate clinical, experimental, observational, and case-based research.
• Promote responsible scientific discussion of traditional and emerging therapeutic practices.
• Facilitate communication among researchers, healthcare professionals, practitioners, and academics worldwide.

Scope

YPATL considers manuscripts addressing theoretical, experimental, clinical, observational, and interdisciplinary aspects of Yoga, Pranic Healing, and complementary and alternative therapies. Particular consideration is given to studies that employ appropriate scientific methodology, clearly defined outcomes, transparent reporting, and evidence-based interpretation.

The journal welcomes research relating to the physiological, psychological, neurological, behavioral, rehabilitative, and quality-of-life dimensions of complementary and integrative approaches, provided that the work is presented within an appropriate scientific framework.

Manuscript Categories

YPATL publishes scientifically prepared manuscripts, including:

• Original Research Articles
• Research Letters
• Clinical Reports
• Case Reports
• Brief Communications
• Perspectives and Scientific Commentaries, where appropriate

Articles and Case Reports, generally ranging from 1–8 pages, should be prepared according to the journal's prescribed format/template. Submissions should address a clearly defined research question, clinical observation, specific problem, novel concept, or scientifically relevant case and should present the methodology, observations/findings, and interpretation in an appropriate scholarly format.

Peer Review and Publication

All manuscripts must be prepared in English and are subject to the journal's peer-review and editorial assessment procedures. Manuscripts are evaluated for scientific quality, originality, relevance, ethical considerations, clarity, and compliance with the journal's publication requirements.

Accepted manuscripts, including Case Reports, may be published online within two weeks following completion of the peer-review and editorial processes, subject to satisfactory completion of all required revisions, production, and publication formalities.

The Experts/Researchers in Yoga, Pranic and Alternative, Complimentary Therapies, who are interested to be Editors/Editorial Board members can submit their CV to the chief Editor (chief.editoresra@gmail.com)

Use Microsoft Word Software and Times New Roman Letters for preparing the manuscript with double spacing (Use 14 Font size letters for the Title and 12 Font size letters for the rest of the manuscript).

The authors should ensure that, the manuscript has been 'spell checked' and 'grammar checked' before submission.

In order to verify originality of the work presented in the manuscript, your article may be checked by the originality detection service providers such as CrossCheck services.

Authors can use the following check list to prepare their manuscripts before submission to the Journal for the Peer Review process.

There can be sub-divisions such as 2.1, 2.2 …. 2.1.1, 2.1.2…. under Results and Discussion.

References should be cited using the superscript format (^{1, 2-4, 5,6, 7-11})

The Figures and Schemes should include relevant captions.
The Table/s should include title/s, description, literature citation (if any) and footnote/s.

The authors should assure that, the work described in the article has not been published previously, except in the form of an abstract in a conference/symposium/seminar or as part of the academic thesis and it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that its publication is approved by all the authors and by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form in English language or in any other language, including the electronic media.
