Green and Sustainable Chemistry Letters (GSCL) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing scientific research, innovation, and scholarly communication in Green Chemistry, Sustainable Chemistry, and related disciplines. The journal serves researchers, scientists, academicians, and professionals worldwide working toward the development of environmentally responsible, resource-efficient, safer, and sustainable chemical processes, products, materials, and technologies.
GSCL provides a global platform for researchers to present, communicate, share, and disseminate original findings, emerging concepts, innovative methodologies, and contemporary perspectives addressing current challenges and opportunities in Green and Sustainable Chemistry.
The journal places particular emphasis on research that contributes to the prevention of pollution, reduction or elimination of hazardous substances, efficient use of energy and resources, waste minimization, renewable feedstocks, safer chemical design, sustainable manufacturing, and environmentally benign chemical technologies.

Aim
The primary aim of Green and Sustainable Chemistry Letters (GSCL) is to promote the development and dissemination of innovative chemical science and technology that supports environmental protection, resource efficiency, human and ecological safety, and long-term sustainability.
The journal seeks to encourage research that:
- Designs safer, greener, and more sustainable chemicals and materials.
- Reduces or eliminates the use and generation of hazardous substances.
- Improves atom economy, energy efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Develops environmentally benign synthetic methods and processes.

Scientific and Environmental Focus
GSCL particularly encourages research involving innovative chemical syntheses, technologies, methodologies, and processes that reduce or eliminate the use and generation of hazardous substances. Contributions demonstrating improvements in resource efficiency, energy consumption, waste prevention, safety, renewable-resource utilization, or environmental performance are especially relevant to the journal.
Where appropriate, manuscripts should provide sufficient experimental, analytical, theoretical, or computational evidence to support their conclusions and should clearly describe the environmental or sustainability relevance of the reported work.

Research Letters
Short papers of approximately 2–8 pages, prepared according to the journal's prescribed format/template, may be submitted as Letters. Such contributions may address:
- A specific scientific or technological problem;
- Important preliminary findings;
- A novel experimental observation;
- A new or improved methodology;
- An innovative synthetic approach;
- A new concept or hypothesis supported by scientific evidence; or
- Significant results requiring concise and timely communication.
Letters may include experimental, theoretical, computational, or interdisciplinary studies, provided that the work is scientifically sound and relevant to the scope of GSCL.
Peer Review and Publication
All manuscripts must be prepared in English and will undergo rigorous international peer review and editorial evaluation. Manuscripts are assessed for originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal's scope, clarity, ethical compliance, and overall scholarly contribution.
Accepted manuscripts may be published online within approximately 2–3 weeks following completion of the peer-review and editorial process, subject to satisfactory completion of revisions, final editorial approval, and publication formalities.
